Bianca Sissing grew up in Canada with a Swiss father and a South African mother. In 2003 she came to Switzerland and earned national popularity with her win as Miss Switzerland of the same year. At both the Miss Universe and Miss World competitions she placed under the top 15. Before becoming Miss Switzerland Bianca Sissing completed her Bachelors Degree in Honours Pyschology at the University of Waterloo in Ontario Canada. She speaks German, English and Italian.

Currently Bianca works successfully as a Model, Actress, MC Speaker, Journalist and Representative for various companies.  She is also a long time vegetarian who supports various animal rights organizations such as PETA and Swiss Animal Protection. Since the middle of 2008 Bianca has had the opportunity to express her artistic talents. Already in Canada her talents were appreciated in school and youth theater where she acted in productions such as „Mash“, „Grease“ and „Les Miserables“ and in the school chior. With her roll in „Jesus Christ Superstar“ in 2008 she made her breakthrough on the Swiss stage. From Oktober 2010 to May 2011 Bianca Sissing played a lead role in the Swiss Hit Musical "SPACE DREAM - the Original". She was cast as role of MEGA, a comedic, naive, and lovable robot.  Bianca Sissing has successfully shown that her talents are also appreciated on the Swiss stage.

Bianca Sissing has long been a participant of international humanitarian work. She has orgnized and managed trips, and travelled to the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Guatemala, and Thailand to give her time, energy and support to those in need. Bianca has spent months living and working in underdeveloped countries in order to help build a better future for the less priveleged.

In June 2010 Bianca Sissing travelled to South Africa for the FIFA World Cup 2010 representing Switzerland with the Miss World Organization. She was honoured to be able to take part in this once in a life time opportunity.

Bianca Sissing has decided to undergo a second diploma, this time in a more creative field of business.  In June of 2012 she will complete her training as a professional Florist.  She is looking forward to the future and values that she has various opportunities to express her creative talents.
